Hi my name is Elham Bahman Kooishahi
Hi my name is Lee Boon
Hi my name is Lee Boon. A big HELLO and welcome to all the parents looking for care. At Lee’s Family Day Care, as per all of BBFDC’s policies and procedures, education is important but so is FUN.
We have a fantastic area to ride our bikes around at full speed. A garden to drive our ambulances and trucks through. Worms to breed and feed to the chickens. Cats to pat and guinea pigs to catch. Budgies to talk to and baby budgies to watch grow.
In summer time we have a full water tank to use for our water play and in the cooler months we walk to nearby parks and the library for community activities. We are experts in making play dough and messy play.
So if you are looking for the above please come and visit us we are always keen to meet new friends.
A lot of our families currently have their 2nd or 3rd child with us which is just fantastic.
Phone me on 0432 673 761 (If I don’t answer please leave a message as there is a good chance I’m busy with the kids) or email email@example.com
Thank you for taking the time to read my blurb.

Hi my name is Chandima Goonewardena
Hi, my name is Chandima Goonewardena. I started as an educator in 2004 and have completed both the Certificate III & Diploma in Children’s Services. I am from Sri Lanka. I live with my husband Guy and my daughter Senaya (18 years) & son Sethum (17 years). I opened my home as a Family Day Care home because I love nurturing children and seeing them grow, learning about themselves as well as interacting with other children. As an educator I want every child in my care to be happy, healthy and active.
Hi my name is Angela Martin
Hello and welcome to my Family Day Care. I have been registered as an Educator with our wonderful scheme since the beginning of 2013. I have been married since 2000 and a Mum to two boys. I have been passionate about Family Day Care since I accessed it as a parent when I returned to work when my eldest son was a year old.
Children are our greatest gifts and choosing the right child care for your child can be stressful. Family Day Care offers a unique educational setting – a home away from home. The home like environment is comforting and reassuring, and your child will have a single, consistent Educator.
No two children are the same – therefore my programme & routine are flexible, putting the needs & interests of each child first.
I believe that play is an essential part of the learning process. Children learn as they play – they are also developing their cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills. The activities that I offer promote the child’s self-esteem, social interaction, self-expression, language development, gross motor, and fine motor skills. The art experiences involve a variety of materials & music is presented with finger play, instruments, and a growing repertoire of songs. I attend our Scheme’s Play Session every alternate week which provides a wonderful sense of community and the opportunity to learn in a bigger group setting.
I work Monday – Thursday (0730 – 1700). If you would like further information about my Family Day Care, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at email@example.com or through the Bramble Bay FDC office on telephone number (07) 32694383.
Hi my name is Jo McLaren
Hi! I’m Jo McLaren and welcome to my Family Day Care! I am a new educator with Bramble Bay Family Day Care and am excited to get started on this new journey. I was a Primary School Teacher from 1999 until 2009 when I left to become a Mum. I have been married for 20 years and have 2 very funny, wonderful and busy boys of my own who attend local schools. I have always had a strong interest in the early years, so in late 2019 I embarked on an Early Childhood Teacher Bridging Program which I have now completed. I am looking forward to combining my love of teaching the early years with providing quality care to children who thrive in a more personalised environment.
I am committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. The children in my care will be encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences. I will seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the curriculum as framed by the Early Years Learning Framework. My Family Day Care offers access to a variety of indoor and outdoor activities with plenty of space and resources which will allow children to explore, enquire and create excitement. I will also offer opportunities for the children in my care to interact with other children and groups within our community and will do this by attending Bramble Bay FDC Scheme’s fortnightly play session, local libraries for reading sessions, parks and visits with other educators.
Hi my name is Annemarie Mullins
My name is Annemarie Mullins and I have been an educator with Bramble Bay Family Day Care since September 2014. I was previously an educator for Orange Family Day Care in NSW for 2 years, and have experience in Long Day Care. I was also on the committee for Lyrebird Pre School (NSW) for 4 years holding the position as Treasurer.
I have 3 children of my own.
I have completed my Certificate III in Children’s Services, and attend regular professional development training each year to ensure I am equipped to provide the best quality care for the children in my care.
I believe that my home will be one where your precious child will feel safe, loved and supported as they continue to grow and develop.
I have a range of resources to enable your child to grow both academically and socially. I plan learning experiences to cater for all the differing abilities and needs of each child implementing the Early Years Learning Framework. The program is flexible and you are welcome to provide input at any time. Enjoyment is the focal point of all learning experiences whilst still encouraging the development of each and every child. My holistic approach to children’s learning and development recognises the significance of creative and child-initiated play to the growth of children’s self-esteem and personal competence.
